8 New Medela Pumps for the Transitional Care Team
Earlier this year, we were able to purchase 8 new Medela Pumps for the Transitional Care team in the Neonatal Ward, meaning they no longer needed to borrow pumps from Maternity. The team have given us an update!
“The new pumps for Transitional Care have made such a huge difference to the families we are supporting. With enough pumps for every mum to have one at their bedside, it has enabled more mums to continue their expressing and breastfeeding journeys in the comfort of their own private space. It has also made the transition from the neonatal unit to TC smoother for many mums, as they are already familiar with the pumps and do not need to learn how to use a different machine. Thank you so much to the charity for enabling us to provide all mums with access to a pump for the duration of their stay.”
